FerryLoop is built to help businesses and individuals create meaningful, personalized conversations with their contacts on WhatsApp. We believe in responsible automation that respects both the platform and the people using it.

This Fair Use Policy outlines the guidelines for using FerryLoop in a way that benefits everyone and keeps the WhatsApp ecosystem healthy.

Prohibited: Bulk Marketing Messages

FerryLoop cannot be used to send bulk marketing messages. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Mass promotional campaigns sent to large contact lists
• Unsolicited marketing messages to contacts who haven't opted in
• Broadcast-style advertising to multiple recipients simultaneously
• Spam or repetitive promotional content across contacts
• Cold outreach campaigns to purchased or scraped contact lists

WhatsApp is designed for personal, conversational messaging. Bulk marketing violates WhatsApp's Terms of Service and can result in your number being banned. FerryLoop is not a bulk messaging tool.

Intended Use Cases

FerryLoop is designed for:

• Conversational AI agents that respond to incoming messages with intelligent, context-aware replies
• Customer support automation that helps answer questions and route inquiries
• Lead qualification through interactive conversations initiated by the contact
• Transactional notifications like order updates, appointment reminders, and delivery confirmations
• Personal assistants for journaling, reminders, and productivity

Consent Requirements

Before sending any automated message, you must have proper consent from the recipient. This means:

• The contact has explicitly opted in to receive messages from you
• The contact initiated the conversation or has an existing business relationship with you
• You provide a clear way for contacts to opt out of future messages
• You honor opt-out requests immediately

Rate Limits and Volume

To ensure fair usage and platform compliance, FerryLoop implements reasonable rate limits. Automation should enhance conversations, not flood them. If you find yourself needing to send hundreds of messages per hour, FerryLoop is likely not the right tool for your use case.

Consequences of Violation

Violations of this Fair Use Policy may result in:

• Immediate suspension or termination of your FerryLoop account
• No refund of any prepaid fees
• Reporting to WhatsApp if required

We reserve the right to monitor usage patterns and take action against accounts that appear to be violating this policy.
